Crimson Tear is the first CD offering from Keith Airey's new band AIREYA 51. As well as the band this album features additional musicians including; on bass Bob Skeat (Wishbone Ash), Russ Rodford & Jaz Lochrie (Bad Company,Go West), keys Rod Argent, percussion Julian Fairbank.
In the last 25 years Keith Airey has made his name with Nik Kershaw (including Live Aid), Tom Jones, Mari Wilson, Colin Blunstone, The Zombies, Then Jerico, and Don Airey (of Deep Purple) and many many more.
AIREY51 gives Keith the chance to play, sing and write his own music in his own style.
Crimson Tear is a rock album that lies somewhere between Lenny Kravitz, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix & Rory Gallagher. Keith is hoping that all those people who have shown an interest in his career over the years will enjoy this album as much as he enjoyed making it. AIREYA51 is unsigned and currently under the umbrella of Mel Norman & Jane Peters at AML Records Ltd. Also currently engaged in radio and magazine interviews plus press releases. Keith is not just a virtuoso guitarist but also a unique singer and songwriter. Daughter Olivia 23 makes an amazing debut on this album, check out track 1 “Crimson Tear”.
