Mick Ralph's Bad Company stormed that stage as they headlined the 2008 Cambridge Rock Festival.

The 2008 Lineup

Mick Ralphs, Dave "Bucket" Colwell, Robert Hart, Jaz Lochrie and two rock icon special guest drummers!

Spread over nearly FOUR DECADES (and before the conception of our current stage show), the collective Bad Company's had 'toured the world and recorded albums' with THREE VOCALISTS, THREE BASS GUITARISTS and a A VARIETY OF OTHER GUITARISTS at any of the relative given points in time. Mick Ralphs (the originator of the band) has always maintained that 'Bad Company is far more important than any one individual in it' since the band's original conception in the 1970's.

Prolific guitarist & multi hit song writer MICK RALPHS was the very first Bad Company member. Mick has played with a good many bands including another of his creations, MOTT THE HOOPLE with Ian Hunter ('All The Young Dudes'?). He left MOTT to form the then new BAD COMPANY. History shows that Mick also appears on the re-recording of Tommy by THE WHO, and later teamed up and toured with Dave Gilmour (PINK FLOYD) before co-writing a song with GEORGE HARRISON called 'Flying Hour'. Mick's collective UK and US singles and albums are far too numerous to mention.

Performing on Bass/vocals we have Jaz Lochrie. Jaz had a springboard success with eighties white-soul band GO WEST. A high profile sessions career ensued followed by a move to Japan to form PSYCHEDELIX with Cher resulting in four albums. Jaz toured with Pete Townsend, Alice Cooper and Roger Daltrey before he was approached by Paul Rodgers to tour and record (four albums) before becoming the new bass player with BAD COMPANY.

Our first 'special guest' drummer is Harry James. This man has his own enormous fan base & following, and quite rightly too because he’s such a character. Known also for his work with THUNDER & MAGNUM (Thunder were No.2 in 1992 UK album charts), Harry is one of the most respected drummers on the rock circuit. Harry has contributed to work with Don Airey, Russ Ballard, Graham Bonnet, Shadowman and Paul Young. In 2006 he played with THE IAN GILLAN BAND at The Royal Albert Hall. His skills are beyond question.

Our second 'special guest' drummer is the iconic 'Smiley'. Rated by some as one of the best drummers in the world, Smiley has performed with ROBBIE WILLIAMS, JOE STRUMMER, SQUEEZE, SPEAR OF DESTINY, THE ALARM and THE WATERBOYS, to name just a few.

Then we have the LEGENDARY ROCK guitar genius of Dave 'Bucket' Colwell (who has a new solo album in the pipeline with a collection of celebrity guests & friends). Dave was is longest ever serving 'joint-guitarist' performing throughout the history of BAD COMPANY, appearing on nearly every one of the bands earlier recorded albums. He has also performed with a multitude of world class rock bands including HUMBLE PIE and THE JONES GANG, created by Kenny Jones, formerly of Faces/Small Faces, and more recently The Who.

Last but by no means least, we have our charismatic, multitalented vocalist/hit song writer Robert Hart. The blonde bombshell from hell, who totally radiates 'stage presence' and mesmerises live audiences. Some rate him 'the best rock vocalist of all time' but he modestly refutes that. However, he is a master of song-craft who has contributed to more hit songs than anyone I have ever met. Up front of stage with Bucket, Jaz & Mick, he drives a 'rock & roll' motor that pumps out none stop sets of awesome musical entertainment.
