Slowhand and Ray
The ultimate Cream live show we have all waited to see…..”
“ They make the songs sound so fresh, Yes! This band are a must for all Mojo readers”
They have rocked and amazed audiences throughout the UK on their sell-out “White Room” tour and are currently doing the same thing in the rest of Europe. The band comprises three artistes who are at the very top of the list of Britains blues/rock aristocracy – each in his own respective field. Cream’d has given them a Worldwide stage not only to prove their own “brilliance”, but also to show that they really can re-produce and emulate live in concert the amazing sound of one of the World’s greatest bands of all time – THE CREAM!
This is a show which truly should not be missed – it features all the blistering classic tracks that were Cream. From Sunshine Of Your Love, Politician, Strange Brew and Badge to the more earthier sounds of the traditional blues covers at which Cream excelled, Crossroads, Four Until Late, and Rollin’ & Tumblin’ by the great Robert Johnson or I’m So Glad by Skip James.
Legendary Frankie Miller’s Full House guitarist Ray Minhinnett who was nominated for “Best British Blues Guitarist” alongside the likes of Eric Clapton and Gary Moore plays with pure virtuosity, a conviction and a passion rarely witnessed on a concert stage – anywhere in the World.
Ian Ellis on bass, harmonica and vocals is more than adept at playing the rapid, spitting bass runs that were so typically Jack Bruce’s trademark. Ian has played and recorded with Clouds, Roger Waters and Savoy Brown amongst a host of others.
Renowned session drummer Ken Ward completes this unique coming together of musicians. Totally unequalled with his ten piece double bass drum kit Ken never fails to surround the inspiring maelstrom with real Ginger Baker thundering, mouth-dropping, inspired drumming.
