Dave has appeared, on record or on stage, alongside such household names as The Art Of Noise, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Carrack, Eric Clapton, Roger Daltrey, Bo Diddley, Duane Eddy, Andy Fairweather Low, Dr. Feelgood, Bryan Ferry, Nik Kershaw, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Billy Preston, Procol Harum, Ringo Starr and Robin Trower. He can be seen playing alongside Eric Clapton in the "Live in Hyde Park" DVD, and the multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning tribute to George Harrison, "Concert For George".

Born in Wolverhampton (August 15th 1959), Paul sang in several rock bands in the Midlands in the late 70's, before moving to London to audition for "Darts" in 1980. He made the last two, and though not getting the gig, he realised his future as a singer lay in the south.
1998 -99 ................

........Paul released a new solo CD "Ain’t Nothin’ Doin’" to critical acclaim and a lot of airplay. The CD features some of the UK’s finest musicians. There are a number of stand out tracks, give it a listen. The Paul Cox Band are working all over Europe to rave reviews, Paul Jones - Radio 2 /Jazz FM says " the best voice in the UK"

2000- 2001
Played to critical acclaim at Litlecoate House, The Farnham Maltings Festival, Claire Festival and BB's Blues Festivals. Released second CD on Note "Real World" produced by Roger Cotton the follow up to his very successful first CD on Note Records. Featured in a "Paul Cox -Special" on Paul Jones’s JazzFM London show, JAZZ me BLUES! Who says of Paul "one of the best voices in Europe" and "one of my favourite artists". Performed a storming set to a large crowed, closing the "Blues on the Farm" event at Chichester.
