FREE AGAIN, THE ORIGINAL TRIBUTE TO FREE AND BAD COMPANY was formed in 1995. The band is made up of highly experienced and professional musicians and has gigged widely throughout the UK. Praised in fanzines, Free Again aims to create an authentic experience of two of the seminal blues-rock bands of the post-Hendrix era. We play almost the entire Free and Bad Company back catalogues as well as a wide range of songs from other Free-derived outfits. Our guitarist and drummer, both ex-Mungo Jerry, were signed to EMI with Bodie, a band heavily influenced by Free. Audiences are assured of an electrifying, passionate and sensitive experience, in honour of some of the most talented musicians to come out of the British blues-rock scene.
We have gigged extensively at major venues on the tribute circuit (The Horn, St. Albans, The Half-Moon, Putney, The Railway, Ipswich, The Brook, Southampton, etc.)
We were the first tribute band to be featured on allrightnow.com (an Atlanta- based website, supported by Paul Rodgers and devoted to Free, Bad Company and their offshoots).
Our website is currently being re-designed, but recent live footage of the band can be found via www.freeagain.co.uk or on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZjNZF025ms
