The John Young Band was formed in 2002 and features top class
experienced session musicians performing original classic and
progressive rock.
John's history goes back through many twists and turns from an
education in classical music he went on to tour with Uli Jon Roth
in 1985 and Asia in 1989/90. He briefly worked with Paul Rodgers
and Kenney Jones in 1990 in a band called The Law. John has performed
 with Bonnie Tyler since 1993 and toured the world with the Scorpions
Acoustica tour for several years.He also played with Fish on his
Fellini Days tour and CD.John worked extensively with John Wetton
through the 90's co-writing half the tracks on his critically
acclaimed CD Arkangel. John has written & recorded with many well
known artists from Jon Anderson to the Italian genius Lucio Battisti.
John plays keyboards for two top classic progressive rock bands
The Strawbs and Greenslade.John also writes for TV in styles ranging
from classical to jazz and ambient to world music.You will often find
him cropping up on the BBC, CNN, Nat Geo and the Discovery channel...
you just won't know it's him !!
