TAILDRAGGER BLUES BAND BIOGRAPHY

This little ol` band from the fens was first formed over 10 years ago, born out of a passion for playing the blues and a wanting to play raw, powerful music without the boundaries and stereo types often seen and heard on the local music scene. The band write and perform their own material as well as classic and contemporary blues covers. Heavily influenced by Buddy Guy, Billy F.Gibbons, Doyle Bramhall II, BB King, Albert Collins and anyone with serious blues tone and attitude!!

The band features two of the finest blues guitar talents around on the UK scene today, Mike Smith (vocals & guitar) and T.J.(guitar) and Ivan Eley on bass guitar.
Mike Smiths`s no holds barred approach to guitar playing is explosive to say the least and always leaves the crowd wanting more. Stephen Foster of BBC Radio Suffolk summed his talents up years ago with this quote “Buddy Guy & B.B.King eat your heart out!”
