Stewarding at the CRF

You will be on call for the entire event but will be expected to work for typically 1 x 4 hour shift per day over a minimum of 2 days. This is voluntary work with no charge for admission or camping - providing you meet our requirements and are prepared to be on call for the entire event.
If you were a volunteer at the Cambridge Rock Festival, firstly a big thank you! We have current volunteer details on file and will be calling on your services again - what a great team we made, just let us know that you are up for it again. If you have not stewarded in recent years why not re-apply as it is just as much fun as ever.
There are a variety of tasks to get involved with - do you enjoy cooking, and brewing up a cuppa or two - we need a number volunteers to help run the steward / crew welfare marquee, it's a good place to meet everyone and looking after the team is very rewarding.
Are you an Electrician? or PAT tester - why not sign up - we have a team of volunters who PAT test band equipment as it arrives - get a feel for the backstage life!
Does your driving licence allow you to drive a 12 seat mini bus - if you are over 30 it probably does! We may require 3 or 4 volunteers to work in shifts driving a shuttle bus on a circuit to and from the festival (very dependant on possible sponsor funding and obtaining the required insurance).

A strange bunch the RBF/CRF committee - they work for no pay putting the festival together - must be mad, yet they come back to do it every year, must remember to ask them why?
